Spring Has Sprung…
Which means that tick, flea and heartworm season is upon us! Be sure to ask about the latest preventive treatments available to protect your cat or dog from those pesky pests. Also, it’s the perfect time of year to participate in our Spring/Summer WELLNESS TESTING. Our laboratory offers fantastic blood and parasite testing that screens for all kinds of diseases and conditions. Ask us for more details!

PET OWNER APPRECIATION DAY
Pet Owner Appreciation Day was celebrated on November 29, 2008 at Headon Forest Animal Hospital and was a huge success as we had over 80 visitors to our clinic! While pet owners met our enthusiastic staff and toured our clinic they were able to see our surgery suite, radiology suite, dental equipment, treatment area, laboratory and dog and cat wards. Many of our pet owners were surprised by the technical equipment and resources that are available to provide their pet with excellent care and also the size of our clinic! Representatives from Bayer Animal Health and Iams Veterinary Diets were on hand to give information about parasite control and nutrition for pets. The Burlington Humane Society also brought some four-legged friends to help spread the word about this wonderful organization that helps so many homeless creatures. Many of our visitors took part in our giveaways and won some great gear for themselves and their pets.
We thank everyone who came to help us celebrate –we so much appreciate your kind words and hope you had fun.
